Welcome to the homepage of Hampstead Congregational Church!
"Wherever you are on life's journey you are welcome here."
Hampstead Congregational is now ‘keeping’ the season of Lent in preparation for Easter soon to come on Sunday April first. Morning worship is marked with a bit more reflection and thoughtfulness as we consider the ways God brings forgiveness and renewal. On Wednesday nights, beginning February 21st we gather at Andy and Barbara Wallacks’ for simple Soup and Bread suppers and conversation. Why is there evil in the world? What does it (really) mean that
God walks with us and sustains us? How does God in Christ nurture and renew God’s creation? Please consider yourself personally invited; everyone is welcome to join in.
Ours is an open and inclusive congregation made up of people coming out of many faith
traditions and practices (or none.) Together we join our hearts in community to love and serve God. Please check out our links to see the various ways we are seeking to make the world a better place, all in the name of Christ, who we believe calls each of us to use and delight in our gifts.
If you are exploring what it means to be alive, if you are asking questions about holy things, or if you are feeling drawn to set down roots with others whose single aim is love and acceptance we hope you will check us out. Our doors and embrace are always open.
Grace and peace,
Rev. Linda Lea Snyder
