The "Strengthening our Foundation,                                   Steeple Image
Investing in our Future
" Capital Campaign

The Capital Campaign to preserve our historic 1861 building is the first major capital campaign at Hampstead Church in 25 years. So far it has funded the painting of the sanctuary’s exterior; new flooring for Hadley Hall (our multi-purpose social hall used by the church, preschool, and the community); the repair of the belfry and steeple, and repair of the bell-ringing apparatus. Future work will include restoration of the 18 original sanctuary windows, and repair of the front entryway doors.

Why Preserve this Historic Building?

Our 1861 building, with its iconic steeple, is a part of the charm that makes Hampstead a  special  place. A familiar sight to anyone driving down Main Street, it provides welcoming setting for the congregation, visitors, Stepping Stones School, community outreach, and events like the Food Truck and Strawberry Festival. In addition, more than 200 people from various community groups meet in Hadley Hall each  week.

By supporting the Capital Campaign, you will join many others to keep this historic building a center for spiritual, cultural and community gatherings for years to come.
